Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh sun which may scorch the leaves. Maintain temperatures above 15°C.
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Good drainage is essential.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a well-draining houseplant or begonia mix. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Loves humidity – ideal for terrariums or bathrooms. Mist regularly or use a pebble tray to increase moisture levels.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove old or damaged leaves to encourage fresh growth. Propagate by leaf or stem cuttings in spring or summer.
