Azalea simsii ‘White’ is a stunning indoor Azalea that produces a generous display of pure white flowers above glossy, dark green foliage. Blooming in winter and early spring, it brings a welcome burst of brightness to the home during the colder months.
Thriving in cool, bright, and humid conditions, Azalea ‘White’ is perfect for conservatories, kitchens, and bright windowsills. It can be kept year-round indoors or moved to a shaded outdoor spot in summer to harden off before returning inside for its flowering season. A long-lived houseplant, it rewards the right care with blooms year after year.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh midday sun indoors, but a cool bright windowsill is ideal for flowering
Water: Keep soil evenly moist at all times. Do not allow the plant to dry out. Use soft, rain, or filtered water where possible, as azaleas dislike hard water
Soil/Nutrition: Requires an acidic, peat-free ericaceous compost. Feed with an ericaceous fertiliser every 2–3 weeks during active growth but avoid feeding while in flower
Humidity: Enjoys cool, humid conditions. Mist lightly, use a pebble tray, or display in a naturally humid room. Avoid hot, dry air from radiators
Pruning and propagation: Remove faded blooms to prolong flower display. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain shape. Propagate from semi-ripe cuttings
