Anthurium vittariifolium
Anthurium vittariifolium is a distinctive foliage houseplant prized for its exceptionally long, narrow, strap-like leaves. The rich green foliage hangs gracefully downwards as it matures, creating an elegant cascading form that looks particularly impressive displayed in a hanging pot or elevated planter.
Best grown in bright, indirect light with warm temperatures and good humidity, this unusual Anthurium is an excellent choice for collectors and tropical houseplant displays. Its naturally pendant growth habit allows the foliage to develop freely and become increasingly dramatic with age.

Anthurium Care
Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid strong direct sunlight which can scorch the foliage
Water: Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry, keeping the growing medium lightly moist but never waterlogged
Humidity: Prefers high humidity and warm, stable indoor conditions
Temperature: Keep warm, ideally between 18°C and 27°C, and protect from cold draughts
Feeding: Feed regularly with a balanced houseplant fertiliser during spring and summer
Care: Grow in an open, free-draining aroid mix and position in a hanging pot or elevated planter to allow the long leaves to develop freely
