Anthurium 'Nevada'
Anthurium ‘Nevada’ is a vibrant flowering anthurium with glossy green leaves and striking red blooms that can last up to 8 weeks. Known for exceptional cold and heat tolerance, it is an ideal choice for bright rooms where long-lasting colour and dependable performance are valued.
Perfect for living rooms, kitchens, and offices, this resilient variety thrives in warm, humid conditions with plenty of indirect light. Its bold flowers and lush foliage make it an elegant focal point in modern interiors.

Anthurium Care Sheet
Light: Bright light, but no direct sun. Hot, direct sunlight can cause scorch marks on the leaves that look like dry, brown patches. Ideally kept in temperatures above 15°C and away from cold draughts
Water: Water thoroughly to ensure that all the roots are watered, and allow excess to run off. Wait until the top couple of inches of potting mix are dry before watering again. Water less often in autumn and winter, but don't allow the potting medium to fully dry out. Yellow leaves indicate over-watering
Soil/Nutrition: Coarse, well-draining houseplant or orchid potting mix; feed monthly in spring and summer
Humidity: Enjoys high humidity. Place with other plants, or use a pebble tray to replicate the humid rainforest environment. Do not mist leaves, as this can cause brown marks
Pruning and propagation: Remove old, faded leaves and flowers, and keep leaves dust-free. Can be propagated by stem cuttings or by dividing the plant in spring
