Amelanchier lamarckii
Amelanchier lamarckii is a stunning multi-season shrub or small tree with spring blossom, edible berries and vibrant autumn colour. Also known as Snowy Mespilus, Amelanchier lamarckii bursts into life in early spring with star-shaped white flowers, often flushed pink in bud. Bronze-tinged young foliage matures to green before turning fiery shades of orange and red in autumn. Small purple-black berries appear in early summer, attracting birds and wildlife.
