Amaryllis 'Stardust'
Amaryllis 'Stardust' is a striking flowering bulb with large, single blooms combining white petals with scarlet-red markings and fine crimson edges. Irregular streaks and speckling give each trumpet-shaped flower a distinctive appearance, with the blooms held on upright stems.
Ideal for bright indoor spaces, this colourful Hippeastrum makes an attractive seasonal centrepiece or flowering gift. Its contrasting red-and-white flowers bring colour to winter and early spring displays, with flowering time depending on planting date and growing conditions.

Hippeastrum Care
Light: Provide bright, filtered light. Turn the pot regularly to encourage upright growth.
Water: Water sparingly until new growth appears, then keep the compost lightly moist. Allow excess water to drain and empty the saucer.
Humidity: Normal household humidity is suitable; misting is unnecessary.
Temperature: Around 21°C encourages initial growth. Once flowering, a cooler position at 15–18°C helps the blooms last longer.
Planting: Use a pot with drainage holes, slightly wider than the bulb, and peat-free compost. Leave approximately two-thirds of the bulb above the compost surface. Support heavy flower stems if needed.
Feeding: Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser weekly while the leaves are actively growing, following the product instructions.
After flowering: Remove spent flower stems but retain healthy leaves. Continue watering and feeding through spring and summer.
Dormancy: In autumn, stop feeding and gradually reduce watering. Give the bulb a cool rest for around eight weeks, then return it to warmth and bright light and resume watering to encourage fresh growth.
