Agastache 'Firebird'
Agastache 'Firebird' is an upright herbaceous perennial producing dense spikes of vibrant salmon-orange flowers above aromatic grey-green foliage. The colourful blooms appear throughout summer, creating a warm and striking display in sunny planting schemes.
The mint-scented foliage is carried on attractive purplish stems, while the nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. 'Firebird' is particularly effective in mixed borders, gravel gardens, prairie-style planting and wildlife-friendly schemes.
Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, 'Firebird' performs best in full sun in well-drained soil. Avoid waterlogged winter conditions to help maintain healthy growth and encourage reliable flowering year after year.
