Aeonium 'Medusa'
Aeonium 'Medusa' is a striking succulent with an unusual branching habit that resembles the twisting snakes of its mythical namesake. Multiple rosettes emerge from branching stems, creating a sculptural and architectural plant that becomes increasingly impressive with age.
The fleshy leaves are predominantly green with deep red to burgundy margins that intensify in bright light. As the plant matures, the numerous rosettes form a dramatic, multi-headed display that works beautifully in containers, conservatories and sunny indoor positions. Its distinctive form makes it a standout specimen for succulent collectors and contemporary plant displays.

Aeonium Care Sheet
Light: Requires a bright position with several hours of direct sunlight each day. Strong light encourages compact growth and enhances red leaf colouring.
Water: Water thoroughly when the compost has mostly dried out. Allow excess water to drain away freely and reduce watering during periods of slower growth.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining cactus or succulent compost. Feed monthly during active growth with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength.
Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable. Good airflow is more important than high humidity.
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged leaves as required. Stem cuttings root easily once allowed to callus before planting.
