Actinidia kolomikta
Actinidia kolomikta is a vigorous deciduous climber grown primarily for its spectacular foliage display. Heart-shaped green leaves gradually develop striking splashes of cream and pink, creating one of the most eye-catching foliage effects of any hardy climber.
As the plant matures, the colourful variegation becomes increasingly pronounced, providing interest throughout the growing season. Its twining stems quickly cover walls, trellises, arches and other garden structures, making it an excellent choice for adding height and colour to vertical spaces.
Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position, this RHS Award of Garden Merit winner is valued for its reliable performance, ornamental foliage and vigorous growth habit.
