Achillea 'Moonshine'
Achillea 'Moonshine' is a reliable herbaceous perennial forming a neat mound of finely divided, feathery grey-green foliage. From early summer, sturdy upright stems rise above the leaves carrying broad, flattened clusters of soft golden-yellow flowers.
The long-lasting blooms continue through summer and can extend into autumn, bringing warm colour and structure to sunny borders. They are highly attractive to hoverflies, bees and other pollinating insects, while the finely textured foliage provides additional interest throughout the growing season.
Drought tolerant once established, 'Moonshine' is particularly well suited to sunny borders, gravel gardens, prairie-style planting and wildlife-friendly schemes. Removing faded flowerheads will help maintain a tidy appearance and encourage further flowering.
