Achillea millefolium 'Paprika'
Achillea millefolium 'Paprika' is a vibrant, long-flowering herbaceous perennial producing broad, flat-topped clusters of rich paprika-red flowers with contrasting golden-yellow centres. As the blooms mature, the colour gradually softens to warm pink tones, creating an attractive changing display through the season.
The flowers are held above finely divided, aromatic grey-green foliage and appear from early to late summer. They are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, while the sturdy stems also make an excellent choice for cutting and adding to summer flower arrangements.
Hardy and drought tolerant once established, 'Paprika' performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. It is particularly well suited to sunny borders, gravel gardens, wildlife-friendly planting and naturalistic schemes, where its strong colour combines beautifully with grasses and other summer-flowering perennials.
