Acer × pseudosieboldianum 'North Wind®' is an exceptionally hardy hybrid maple, bred to withstand far colder conditions than traditional Japanese maples. Proven to tolerate temperatures down to -30°C, it is an excellent choice for exposed sites and gardens in harsher climates.
Red foliage emerges in spring before maturing to fresh green through summer, then transforming again in autumn to rich shades of orange and red. With its upright growth habit and strong structure, ‘North Wind®’ makes a striking and reliable specimen tree, delivering season-long interest and outstanding autumn colour.
