Acer palmatum 'Skeeter's Broom'
Acer 'Skeeter's Broom' is a compact Japanese Maple prized for its rich red foliage that provides colour across the seasons. Fresh growth emerges bright red in spring, deepens to a richer tone through summer, and intensifies again with vibrant autumn colour.
With its naturally upright, bushy habit, this variety is ideal for smaller gardens, patios, or container planting. Best grown in a sheltered position out of strong winds, it adds structure and year-round interest to borders and contemporary planting schemes.
