Acer palmatum 'Pevé Dave'
Acer palmatum 'Pevé Dave' is a striking Japanese maple valued for its finely cut, narrow-lobed red foliage and elegant, well-balanced habit. The deeply divided leaves emerge rich red and hold their colour well through the season, creating a strong visual presence in the garden.
As autumn approaches, the foliage intensifies to deeper crimson tones, delivering a vibrant seasonal finale. Naturally compact and well-shaped, this variety makes an excellent focal point for borders, courtyards and mixed planting schemes. For the best leaf colour and condition, it should be grown in a sheltered position away from harsh, direct sunlight, in moist but well-drained soil.
