A low-growing Japanese maple with refined form and subtle colour. Acer palmatum 'Murasaki Kiyohime' has small, deeply lobed green leaves edged in purple-red as they emerge in spring. The foliage matures to soft green in summer and finishes with golden-orange tones in autumn. Its dense, spreading habit makes it ideal for containers, low borders, or bonsai.
