Acer palmatum 'Cascade Ruby'
Acer palmatum 'Cascade Ruby' is a graceful weeping Japanese maple admired for its finely divided, deeply lobed foliage and elegant cascading form. The leaves emerge in fresh green tones flushed with ruby-red, creating a soft, multi-tonal effect that flows gently down the stems and adds movement to the garden.
Ideal for adding height variation and contrast in mixed tree and shrub plantings, this refined maple is equally effective as a focal point in borders or large containers. As autumn approaches, the foliage intensifies into brighter shades of red and crimson, delivering a striking seasonal display. Best grown in a sheltered position with well-drained soil and light or dappled shade.
