Acer griseum is an ornamental tree prized for its peeling cinnamon-brown bark and fiery autumn colour. Commonly known as the paperbark maple, Acer griseum offers year-round interest with its distinctive exfoliating bark, which peels in thin, papery curls to reveal rich coppery tones beneath. Its trifoliate green leaves turn brilliant shades of red and orange in autumn. Ideal for small gardens or as a focal point in woodland or mixed planting schemes.
