Acer griseum
Acer griseum is a beautiful ornamental tree best known for its distinctive peeling cinnamon-brown bark, which provides outstanding year-round interest. Commonly known as the paperbark maple, this elegant species develops rich copper and chestnut tones beneath the exfoliating bark, creating a striking feature throughout the winter months.
Its attractive trifoliate green leaves emerge in spring and summer before transforming into brilliant shades of scarlet, crimson and orange in autumn.
