Lonicera × heckrottii 'Goldflame'
Lonicera × heckrottii 'Goldflame' is a vigorous semi-evergreen climber producing striking bi-coloured flowers in deep pink and golden yellow. The tubular blooms carry a rich, sweet fragrance and create a colourful display throughout summer.
The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, adding valuable wildlife interest as well as colour and scent. Its twining growth makes 'Goldflame' ideal for softening fences, trellises, arbours and other garden structures.
Reliable and easy to grow, 'Goldflame' performs well in a sunny or partially shaded position in moist but well-drained soil. Its excellent garden performance has earned it the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
