Vinca minor 'Multiplex'
Vinca minor 'Multiplex' is a vigorous evergreen perennial forming a low carpet of glossy, deep green foliage. Semi-double plum-purple flowers appear from mid-spring to late summer, adding rich colour and an attractive layered flower shape to borders and underplanting.
Its trailing stems root as they spread, gradually knitting together to cover bare ground and help suppress weeds. Ideal for banks, slopes and planting beneath shrubs, 'Multiplex' brings dependable year-round greenery to borders and woodland-style gardens.
Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water while establishing and trim unwanted shoots to control its spread. Established plants can be cut back in early spring to refresh the growth and maintain a tidy carpet.
