Verbascum 'Helen Johnson'
Verbascum 'Helen Johnson' is a graceful, upright perennial originally selected at Kew Gardens, valued for its elegant flower spikes and soft buff-peach blooms. A rosette of large, felted green leaves forms an attractive base, adding texture and architectural interest throughout the growing season.
From late spring into summer, tall stems are lined with delicate flowers that create a relaxed, natural look, making this variety an excellent addition to cottage gardens and mixed herbaceous borders. The long-lasting blooms are rich in nectar and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators.
Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, 'Helen Johnson' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Its refined colouring pairs beautifully with ornamental grasses and other summer-flowering perennials, providing height and elegance with very little maintenance.
