Tillandsia ‘Eric Knobloch’ is an impressive hybrid air plant known for its long, arching leaves and striking silvery-green colouring. As it matures, the rosette becomes fuller and more dramatic, and during its bloom cycle the central leaves blush shades of pink or red, producing vibrant purple flowers that add a bold splash of colour.
Ideal for bright, airy spaces, this variety thrives mounted on driftwood, displayed in hanging holders, or positioned in open terrariums. Its sculptural form and reliable growth make it a standout choice for desks, bathrooms, and kitchen windowsills where humidity and airflow naturally support its needs.

Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some gentle morning sun but avoid harsh midday rays. Artificial grow lights are also suitable
Water: Mist thoroughly 2–3 times per week, or soak in room-temperature water for 15–20 minutes weekly. Allow to dry completely within 4 hours to prevent rot. Increase frequency in warm, dry weather
Soil/Nutrition: No soil required. Display on wood, stone, wire, or in open glass vessels. Feed monthly with diluted air plant or bromeliad fertiliser
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Excellent for kitchens and bathrooms where moisture levels fluctuate naturally
Pruning and propagation: Remove dried or damaged leaves as needed. Propagate by separating pups once they reach one-third the size of the mother plant
