Tillandsia andreana - Air plant
Tillandsia andreana is a striking air plant with fine, needle-like green leaves forming a soft, rounded tuft. When in bloom, it produces vivid scarlet flower spikes tipped with purple, creating a bold contrast against the foliage. Compact and eye-catching, it makes an excellent display in terrariums, mounted arrangements, or decorative holders.

Tillandsia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Avoid harsh, direct midday rays.
Water: Mist thoroughly 2–3 times a week, or soak in water for 20 minutes once a week, allowing it to dry fully afterwards.
Soil/Nutrition: No soil required. Feed monthly with a diluted bromeliad or air plant fertiliser.
Humidity: Enjoys higher humidity but must dry quickly after watering to prevent rot.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove any dead leaves at the base. Produces offsets (pups) after flowering, which can be separated when mature.
