Thalictrum 'Ghent Ebony' is a striking, airy perennial grown as much for its dramatic foliage as its flowers. Deep, charcoal-purple to near-black leaves form a soft, elegant mound, creating a bold backdrop in shaded or lightly sunny borders.
In early to mid-summer, clouds of delicate, starburst-like creamy-white flowers rise on slender stems above the foliage, accompanied by dusky purple buds. The combination of dark foliage and light, airy blooms creates a beautiful contrast and adds movement and height to naturalistic planting schemes.
