Stokesia laevis 'Mels Blue'
Stokesia laevis 'Mels Blue' is a compact, clump-forming perennial producing large, cornflower-like blooms in rich lavender-blue above neat evergreen basal foliage. The striking flowers create a bold splash of colour, making this variety a standout feature in sunny borders and prairie-style planting schemes.
Flowering from July through to September, and often continuing well into autumn with regular deadheading, 'Mels Blue' provides an exceptionally long season of interest.
