Sidalcea 'Party Girl'
Prairie Mallow 'Party Girl' is an attractive clump-forming perennial producing elegant spikes of bright pink, open flowers held in loose racemes. Flowering in early summer, the blooms rise above neat clumps of soft green foliage and bring vibrant colour and vertical interest to the border.
Its upright, airy habit makes 'Party Girl' particularly effective in mixed perennial borders, cottage-style planting and naturalistic schemes. The nectar-rich flowers are also highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, adding wildlife value as well as seasonal colour.
Easy to grow and reliable, 'Party Girl' performs best in a sunny position with fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It can also be grown in larger patio containers, where its slender flower stems add height and movement to summer displays.
