Senecio cephalophorus
Senecio cephalophorus is a compact succulent with upright, cylindrical blue-green leaves that grow in dense clusters. Once it grows older, this plant can produce bright orange-red daisy-like flowers on tall stems in summer, creating a vivid contrast against the glaucous foliage. Its sculptural form and seasonal colour make it a standout in succulent collections or sunny windowsills. This plant can also flower as it grows older; it is tough and requires little care.
This slow-growing plant thrives in bright, dry environments, making it perfect for modern indoor displays, conservatories, or patio pots in summer. It performs well in containers with other succulents and requires very little maintenance, making it ideal for busy plant lovers. Place this plant in a sunny corner and keep its soil fairly dry.
