Sedum makinoi
Sedum makinoi is a low-growing, creeping stonecrop with bright green succulent foliage that forms a soft, spreading mat. It is ideal for alpine troughs, containers, rockeries and the front of borders where a neat, textural groundcover is needed.
Small yellow star-shaped flowers appear in summer, adding a light seasonal display above the foliage. Unlike many sedums, this variety is well suited to partial shade, making it useful for bright but slightly sheltered positions in well-drained soil.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, Sedum makinoi is a good choice for adding fresh foliage colour and gentle spreading texture to pots, walls and shaded rock garden displays.
