Sansevieria ‘Night Shade’ is a dramatic snake plant with upright, sword-like leaves in exceptionally dark green, almost black tones. The deep colouring gives this variety a sleek, contemporary feel, making it an excellent choice for modern interiors and minimalist spaces.
Extremely tough and low maintenance, this variety thrives in a wide range of indoor conditions, from bright rooms to lower-light areas. Ideal for homes and offices alike, it brings bold structure and contrast while requiring very little attention.

Sansevieria Care Sheet
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining strong variegation, although it will tolerate lower light levels. Avoid prolonged strong direct sunlight.
Water: Allow the compost to dry thoroughly between watering. Water sparingly, particularly during autumn and winter, and never leave the plant sitting in water.
Soil/Nutrition: Use free-draining cactus and succulent compost. Feed lightly every 4-6 weeks during spring and summer.
Humidity: Normal household humidity is ideal and misting is not required.
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged leaves at the base when required. Propagate by dividing established clumps or separating offsets.
