Rudbeckia hirta 'Fireball'
Rudbeckia hirta 'Fireball' is a spectacular, free-flowering variety producing large, densely packed pom-pom blooms in fiery shades of golden yellow, burnt orange and rich red. The multi-layered petals create an unusual, almost chrysanthemum-like appearance and a glowing two-tone effect.
Flowering throughout summer and into early autumn, 'Fireball' provides a long-lasting display of warm seasonal colour. The sturdy flower stems rise above fresh green foliage, creating excellent impact in beds, borders and container displays.
Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position and well-drained soil, this eye-catching Rudbeckia is ideal for late-summer planting schemes, cottage gardens and patio containers. The dramatic flowers are also excellent for cutting and bringing their fiery colouring indoors.
