Prunus lusitanica 'Brenelia'

Prunus 'Brenelia' is an elegant evergreen shrub with a naturally upright habit, glossy deep green foliage and attractive reddish-purple stems. Also known as 'Angustifolia', it is a refined form of Portuguese laurel with subtly waved leaves that provide strong year-round structure.

In early summer, upright spikes of creamy-white, lightly fragrant flowers appear above the foliage, attracting bees and other pollinating insects. These are followed by small red fruits that gradually ripen to glossy black in autumn, adding further seasonal interest and providing value for wildlife.
