Prunus 'Accolade' is a graceful ornamental cherry renowned for its profuse spring blossom and elegant habit. From March to April, arching branches are smothered in semi-double, pale pink flowers that open from deep pink buds. The display is both abundant and long-lasting, providing an outstanding early-season spectacle. Its attractive blossom also draws in bees and other pollinators, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.

Through summer, the tree carries mid-green foliage that creates a soft canopy of dappled shade. In autumn, the leaves turn brilliant shades of orange and red, extending its ornamental season well beyond flowering. With its spreading, arching form, ‘Accolade’ makes a superb specimen tree for lawns, avenues, or larger gardens where its beauty can be fully appreciated.
