Polygonatum humile
Polygonatum humile is a charming, low-growing woodland perennial forming elegant clumps of slender, arching stems with neatly arranged lance-shaped leaves. Its graceful habit adds a soft, natural texture to shaded planting schemes.
In late spring to early summer, small cream to yellowish-green bell-shaped flowers hang delicately beneath the stems, followed by attractive berries. Ideal for woodland gardens, borders and naturalising, it thrives in partial to full shade with moist, well-drained soil.
