Phlox subulata 'Purple Beauty' is a vigorous mat-forming perennial covered in masses of vibrant lilac-purple flowers with darker purple eyes from spring into early summer. The low-growing evergreen foliage creates a dense carpet of colour, making it ideal for brightening rockeries, borders and gravel gardens.
This hardy creeping Phlox is perfect for spilling over walls, edging pathways or softening the front of sunny borders. Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, it thrives in well-drained soil and provides excellent seasonal ground cover with a long-lasting floral display.
