Phlox subulata 'G.F. Wilson' is a hardy, mat-forming semi-evergreen perennial with a spreading habit and neat green foliage. It is ideal for creating a low carpet of colour in rockeries, sunny border edges, gravel gardens and over retaining walls.
In spring, the plant is covered with masses of lilac-blue flowers, forming a bright and cheerful display. Easy to grow in full sun and well-drained soil, it works beautifully as groundcover or as a soft edging plant for paths and alpine beds.
