Phlox subulata 'Fabulous Blue Violet'
Phlox subulata 'Fabulous Blue Violet' is a low-growing, spreading alpine perennial that forms a dense cushion of fine, evergreen foliage. From April to June, it produces a profusion of pale violet-blue flowers with dark eyes, creating a carpet of colour that brightens rockeries, walls, banks, and containers.
Ideal for sunny positions, this compact Phlox is both hardy and easy to grow, offering long-lasting spring colour and excellent ground cover. Its nectar-rich blooms attract bees and other pollinators, making it as beneficial as it is beautiful. Perfect for softening edges or cascading over low walls, it’s a reliable and rewarding choice for rock gardens or pots.
