Philodendron Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates medium light. Avoid direct sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Water: Water when the top 3–4cm of soil feels dry. Reduce watering in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a rich, free-draining aroid mix with perlite and bark. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity. Mist regularly or place near a humidifier.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove old or yellowing leaves. Propagates easily from stem cuttings with a node.
