Pellionia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Tolerates some gentle morning or late afternoon sun, which enhances its pink and cream tones. Avoid harsh midday rays.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Water when the top few centimetres feel dry, and reduce watering in cooler months.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a light, well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a diluted fertiliser.
Humidity: High humidity keeps the foliage vibrant. Mist regularly or place in a bathroom, terrarium, or near a humidifier.
Pruning and propagation: Trim back regularly to maintain shape and encourage bushy growth. Propagate easily from stem cuttings in water or soil.
