Passiflora caerulea
Passiflora caerulea is a vigorous evergreen climber that brings an exotic, tropical feel to the garden. Twining stems are clothed in deeply lobed dark green foliage and produce an abundance of intricate blue and white flowers with striking purple and yellow centres from summer into autumn.
This fast-growing passion flower is ideal for covering walls, fences, pergolas and trellis in a warm, sheltered position. The dramatic blooms are highly attractive to bees and pollinators, while mature plants may also produce decorative orange fruits in favourable conditions.
