Olearia lepidophylla 'Silver Night'
Olearia lepidophylla 'Silver Night' is a compact evergreen shrub grown for its distinctive silvery foliage. The small green leaves are heavily overlaid with silver, creating a soft metallic effect that brings valuable contrast to borders and container planting throughout the year.
In late summer, small yellow daisy-like flowers appear above the foliage, adding seasonal interest without detracting from the plant's strong architectural character. Its compact habit makes 'Silver Night' particularly useful for mixed shrub borders, patio containers and accent planting.
Low maintenance and easy to grow, 'Silver Night' performs best in a sunny position in well-drained soil. Its tough foliage also makes it a useful choice for coastal or exposed gardens where a compact evergreen shrub is required.
