Nepeta racemosa 'Walker's Low'
Catmint 'Walker's Low' is a much-loved perennial valued for its aromatic grey-green foliage and generous sprays of soft lavender-blue flowers. Blooming from late spring through summer, it creates a relaxed, informal display with plenty of colour and movement.
Its soft, spreading habit makes 'Walker's Low' especially useful for edging sunny borders, weaving through cottage-style planting and softening paths or hard landscaping. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.
Hardy, easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, 'Walker's Low' performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. Cutting back after the first main flush of flowers can encourage fresh growth and a second display later in the season.
