Medinilla ‘Flamenco’ is an exotic showstopper with large, glossy green leaves and cascading clusters of deep pink bracts surrounding rich magenta flowers. This compact and floriferous selection offers all the drama of the classic Medinilla in a more manageable form, bringing a bold tropical presence to indoor spaces.
Perfect for bright rooms with high humidity, it works beautifully as a feature plant on a stand or table where its elegant, pendant blooms can be fully appreciated. Its striking flowers and lush foliage make it ideal for adding colour and a luxurious feel to interiors.

Medinilla Care Sheet
Light: Requires bright, indirect light to flower well. Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Water thoroughly when the top of the soil is dry. Allow water to drain freely. Reduce watering in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a well-draining orchid or epiphytic mix. Feed fortnightly in spring and summer with a high-potash fertiliser to encourage flowering.
Humidity: Loves high humidity – mist regularly or place in a bright bathroom or use a humidifier.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove spent flower heads and damaged leaves to tidy the plant. Can be propagated by stem cuttings in spring.
