Lonicera henryi 11L

Lonicera henryi

Lonicera henryi is a vigorous evergreen climber with glossy dark green foliage that provides valuable year-round cover. From early summer into autumn, it produces clusters of tubular flowers in shades of deep yellow and red, creating a colourful display over a long season.

The flowers are attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects and may be followed by small black berries. Its dense evergreen growth can also provide useful shelter and nesting habitat for birds, adding wildlife value as well as structure to the garden.

Fast growing, hardy and easy to grow, Lonicera henryi is ideal for covering walls, fences, trellises and other garden structures. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and can be pruned after flowering to control its size and maintain a tidy shape.
