Ligularia 'Treasure Island'
Ligularia 'Treasure Island' is a distinctive perennial selected for its handsome foliage, strong growth and vibrant summer flowers. Large, matte green leaves emerge a lighter shade before deepening with age, creating a layered effect that adds texture and interest throughout the growing season.
This vigorous hybrid forms substantial clumps with attractive rhubarb-red stems that support clusters of rich golden-yellow flowers in July. The bright blooms provide a striking contrast against the bold foliage and help attract bees and other pollinating insects to the garden.
Thriving in moist, fertile soils, 'Treasure Island' is ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders and waterside planting. Its impressive foliage presence makes it valuable even when not in flower, bringing structure and colour to partially shaded areas.
