Kalanchoe orgyalis
Kalanchoe orgyalis is a striking architectural succulent prized for its velvety, bronze-copper foliage that resembles cinnamon sticks when young. As the plant matures, the undersides of the leaves develop a silvery-grey tone, creating beautiful colour contrast and enhancing its sculptural appearance.
With its upright growth habit and unusual colouring, this distinctive species makes a bold statement in bright indoor spaces, particularly in modern or minimalist displays. Perfect for sunny windowsills or conservatories, it combines strong visual impact with relatively easy care.

Kalanchoe Care Sheet
Light: Requires bright light, including some direct sun. A south- or west-facing window is ideal.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out fully between waterings. Water sparingly – this plant is drought-tolerant and dislikes overwatering.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a gritty, free-draining cactus or succulent mix. Feed once every 6–8 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted cactus fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers dry air – no misting needed. Ideal for low-humidity environments.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove leggy growth to maintain shape. Can be propagated from stem or leaf cuttings in spring or early summer.
