Hydrangea paniculata 'Polar Bear'
Hydrangea 'Polar Bear' is a magnificent deciduous shrub producing enormous conical panicles that emerge from fresh lime-green buds before opening to pure white flowers. As the season progresses, the blooms gradually develop soft pink tones, providing months of changing colour from summer into autumn.
Its impressive flower heads are held on strong, upright stems, creating a striking focal point in borders and mixed planting schemes. Easy to grow and exceptionally hardy, this reliable variety also makes an excellent cut flower, fresh or dried.
Pruning in early spring encourages the production of even larger flower panicles, ensuring a spectacular display year after year.
