Hyacinthus orientalis 'Jan Bos'
Hyacinthus orientalis 'Jan Bos' is a classic spring-flowering hyacinth known for its intensely coloured deep rose-red blooms. It produces dense, upright spikes packed with starry, sweetly scented flowers from March to April, bringing bold colour and rich fragrance to gardens, patios and indoor displays.
Perfect for pots, bowls, borders and forcing indoors, ‘Jan Bos’ is one of the most popular hyacinths for early spring colour. Its compact size and strong stems make it ideal for containers, while the vibrant colour blends beautifully with spring bulbs such as tulips and narcissi. Reliable and easy to grow, it performs well in full sun or light shade in well-drained soil.
