Hosta 'Coast To Coast'
Hosta 'Coast To Coast' is a bold herbaceous perennial grown for its large golden-green leaves and impressive architectural form. The broad foliage has a gently rippled, textured surface that adds depth and structure to shaded areas throughout the growing season.
Forming a substantial mounding clump, 'Coast To Coast' is ideal for shaded borders, woodland-style planting and large containers. In summer, upright stems rise above the foliage carrying elegant lavender, bell-shaped flowers that add further seasonal interest.
Hardy, reliable and easy to grow, 'Coast To Coast' performs best in partial to full shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Its bright foliage is particularly effective for lifting darker planting areas and combining with ferns and other shade-loving perennials.
