Heuchera 'Electra'
Heuchera 'Electra' is a striking evergreen perennial grown for its vibrant foliage, where shocking blood-red veins dramatically contrast against bright golden-yellow leaves. As the seasons progress, the foliage changes through shades of chartreuse before taking on warm tan tones in winter, providing year-round interest.
In late spring and early summer, short, dense spikes of delicate white flowers rise above the colourful foliage, attracting butterflies and other pollinators. Its compact habit makes it ideal for borders, containers, woodland gardens and edging paths, where its bold leaf colour can be appreciated throughout the year.
Easy to grow and tolerant of short dry spells once established, 'Electra' performs best in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, adding lasting colour and texture to the garden.
