Hamamelis 'Aphrodite' is a colourful winter-flowering shrub that brings a burst of life to the garden when little else is in bloom. From January into March, its bare branches are covered in ruffled, spidery flowers of glowing warm orange, each releasing a sweet, spicy fragrance that carries through the crisp winter air.
As the season progresses, lush green summer foliage emerges before turning rich shades of red and orange in autumn, providing a second highlight of seasonal colour.
